Padraig Lyons MA BA Dip. Phil. served Mass in Ballinasloe as a young boy and attended St. Grellan’s local National School. Having spent many years as a missionary, he has gained a world-vision with a local know-how. Some of his achievements are: Founder member of Action Homeless Concern in West London, Founder memeber nd Director of Midlands simon and Founder Member of Bridge Centre in Ballinasloe. He was also secretary of the Tidy Towns Committee Ballinasloe for eight years witch is a small indication of his love for Ballinasloe and surrounds.

He is renowned for his educational and management skills especially with people living with a disability or struggling on the margins of society.
