Frankie Dolan, An Autobiography

At the turn of the millennium, there were few forwards in Gaelic football who possessed the wizardry of Roscommon’s Frankie Dolan. He had it all – and talent to burn, which some commentators felt Frankie did burn at times due to his infectious, brazen relationship with the game.

He finished his career with only one Connacht SFC medal (2001) at county level, but 10 Roscommon titles with St Brigid’s, and four Connacht victories, in addition to a glorious Club All- Ireland triumph in 2013, meant that the lethal forward entertained as only he could on the game’s greatest stages.
